BOOM! High in the sky a vortex of tumultuous energy roared and spiralled. The gateway finally opened…
Here She Comes!
A lone figure fell from the heavens at breakneck speed and hit the ground.
“Oof! Rough landing!!!! Double oof! That took the stuffing right out of me!”, Elf groaned.
She looked like she had been steamrollered by a buffalo. Dusting herself down, she giggled and proclaimed,
“Hells Bells, where am I? This isn’t what I expected from the brochure. And more importantly, is there anywhere I can get a decent Elven brioche?”
“Hold on, there’s another one coming. Take cover! Oh actually, I am the first here. Haha! So I better take my own advice!”
A second hunter shot through the sky, for the gateway had opened about 50 feet above the ground. A figure came hurtling to the ground with a SPLAT!
“Ooh, yuck, that must have hurt!”, exclaimed the Elf.
Fangs For The Welcome!
Out of a deep crater, a dazed figure stepped. He had fangs for teeth and a long dark cape.
“Urgggghhh my head, urghhhh it feels like my coming of youth party after turning my first human.” He soon composed himself and spoke to Elf.
“Hi, I’m Vlad the Vampire but I’m transitioning to plant based human blood. You could say I am trying to be a vegan vampire like the rest of Hollywood. But it isn’t always easy, especially when you consider my genes. And people tend to judge. Do you know what I mean?”
Elf nearly spat out her takeaway flat white coffee, laughing so hard, before shouting,
“Watchout there is a third one coming!”
Big Beard, Pointy Hat!
A third figure twisted and spun in mid-air at tempestuous velocity as he flew through the Amagi Gateway. SMASH! He landed smack bang on Vampire’s back.
“Wooooooah dude! Give me some space! You just piggybacked me and wiped me out man! Flipping hell my hernia! You seriously need to retake your Certificate in Interdimensional Rift Travelling!”, squealed Vampire.
The man stood up dusting down his pointy hat and purple tunic. He gave a big grin,
“Ah yes, I do apologise. I must admit I’m a little bit rusty at travelling through the multiverse”, Wizard humbly responded with a silent chuckle because he secretly loved flattening vampires.
Behold, Father Of The Gods!
All of a sudden, a 4th figure blasted into the Wastelands with a perfect landing befitting of a deity.
“What is this place? I was expecting a beachside hotel in Corfu!” Zeus boomed with authority.
He quietly surveyed the surrounding landscape. Like an ancient Greek hipster he stood there, holding onto a copy of ‘How To Start Your Own Weather Forecasting Show!’ For a moment, he wondered where he could pick up some fresh doughnuts and a latte. The other three Hunters looked at him gobsmacked in absolute awe…
Solo Adventuring
For a time the 4 Hunters adventured alone across the Dark Woods, ghostly graveyards, deserts and frozen wastelands. Later they would join together but first, they would have to endure the trials of BoomLand alone, while they had yet to understand the power of the fellowship!
The Dark Woods….
Miles and miles of forest, glorious mountain ranges and blue skies for as far as the eye could see, with birds tweeting joyfully. In the dark woods all manners of monster and beast dwelled hidden in the shadows.
Then along came the Elf with bow poised, the fastest bow person in the world! Suddenly, a ghastly giant spider snuck up behind her. The Elf unphased, spun around with speed and grace, unleashing a massive blast of energy. The sizzling bolt soon despatched the evil creature!
“Have some of that you furry, fickle, 8-legged pest!”, shouted The Elf in raucous celebration!
Graveyard of Horrors!
Across the Hunting Lands, in a graveyard of gloom in the depths of night, ghouls and spooks terrorised all. Suddenly, Vlad the Vampire floated through the air twisting and turning with ferocious agility. Vlad vaporised attacking ghosts with his magical energy below the brightly shining moon. Spinning around with fury, his bolts of energy dissolved his enemies!
“Come at me! I’m the Vegan vampire and I will blast you to another dimension!”
Across the Exotic Sands!
In the exotic allure of deserts faraway, in a sand-swept landscape a mighty spellcaster dressed resplendently in a purple wizardy hat and tunic stomped confidently past cacti. Thrusting his magic staff, he obliterated scorpions in his path!
“Have some of that pincer-eyed, venomous maggots on legs!”, Wizard laughed as he butchered his foes.
The Battle of Ice and Frost
“Behold, the Almighty All Father!”, Zeus proclaimed to the giants attacking him. In the snowy wastelands of ice and frost, Zeus, father of the Gods, fired lightning bolts striking down gigantic beasts. Listening to Taylor Swift on his earpods, he danced around shooting off lightning like a party animal in his toga!
“Oh yes, partying like it’s 1999 baby!”, Zeus bellowed.
Let’s Come Together!
Wizard, Elf, Vampire and Zeus enjoyed adventuring solo, but they soon realised it made sense to form a clan. For together they were stronger.
Marching as one, they spotted a death defying red dragon, hotly followed by Medusa and other evil entities. In a flash, a huge battle broke out with blasts of magic, dragon breath and blistering bolts flying all over the place!
The four Hunters combined their powers and shot the dragon out of the skies. Victory was theirs! Later, they stood celebrating before thundering waterfalls as the Overlords of BoomLand bestowed great rewards.
The Coming of Angel!
An angel ascended dancing in the heavens, shining in glorious majesty with a dazzling javelin and bright aura.
“Hunters behold, for this is a world of plenty. A place to fight, gain treasure and coinage, enjoying the many games and events. For you may become legends!”, bellowed the joyous angel.
The Great City!
The four hunters had so much fun exploring the world together. They went to Landinium, the city of promise! They encountered a myriad of Hunters, some friendly and chatty, others cold as ice who would steal from your Grandma in the blink of an eye. Characters from across the multiverse from different myths and dimensions all come together in one world: BoomLand.
Marketplace
In the Marketplace, the formidable four witnessed artifacts of treasure that would empower them in ways not yet known! They travelled through streets full of wondrous goods and trinkets.
Look To The Skies!
Then, all of a sudden Wizard shouted to the others:
“Look Hunters! The Amagi Gateway is opening again!!! Who is manifesting next in BoomLand?”
Magical times were coming. The tales of Hunters On-Chain had begun! Will you be the next to arrive?
