Our Play-To-Airdrop (P2A) event starts June 19, 2024. This campaign will take place exclusively on the Immutable zkEVM version of the game, with a massive prize pool of up to 250 million $BOOM tokens. Here’s everything you need to know to get started and maximize your rewards.
What is Play-To-Airdrop?
The P2A event is designed to reward players for their in-game efforts with $BOOM tokens, which have extensive in-game and out-of-game utilities. $BOOM can be used across all BoomLand games for staking, accessing premium features, and more, making it a valuable asset for any Web3 gaming enthusiast.
Event Structure
The P2A event consists of two seasons, each lasting one month, with a total prize pool of up to 250,000,000 $BOOM.
Season 1
- Start Date: June 19, 2024
- Chain: Immutable zkEVM
- Eligibility: New and existing players on Immutable zkEVM (Polygon assets and progress do NOT count)
How to Earn $BOOM
Players can earn $BOOM tokens through genuine gameplay, which is rewarded with XP. The more XP you earn, the higher your rank, and the larger your airdrop reward.
Earning XP
XP is earned by completing Badges, Quests, and Referrals.
Badges
Badges are one-time achievements for tasks such as, holding specific Hunters or damaging Kevin (The Dragon)
Quests
Quests are limited-time daily tasks that can be repeated, such as opening Daily Hunt Boxes or winning different Game Modes
Referrals
Referrals give bonus XP for inviting friends with your unique referral link who meet in-game requirements:
- Referrals must play Hunters On-Chain for at least four days
- Your referrals will gain 100 XP each for using your link
- You will be rewarded 100 XP per referral, with the XP amount increasing up to 15 Referrals
- Referrals after 15 will reward you +100 XP, this is unlimited
- Referral Leaderboard rewards top 100 referrers with bonus $BOOM

Premium Hunters
To maximize earnings, players should aim to obtain Premium Hunters, which offer significant XP multipliers. There are several ways to acquire Premium Hunters:
- Genesis Holders on Polygon (before May 27, 3pm UTC) receive one Premium Hunter per Genesis held
- Participate in contests and activities before and during the P2A
- Trade or purchase Premium Hunters on Sphere
- BoomLand will list Premium Hunters for sale on Sphere, throughout the season.
- Opening Hunt Boxes in-game with $BGEM
Premium Hunter XP Multiplier
- Each Premium Hunter held gives a +40% XP multiplier
- The multiplier stacks, with a cap of +1000%
Anti-Cheat Measures
To ensure fair play, BoomLand employs robust anti-cheat and anti-AFK systems, making it difficult for bots and multi-wallet users to exploit the event.
Removing assets out of your wallet will remove the relevant badges and multipliers earned.
A final snapshot will be taken at the end of Season 1, and we will review scores to confirm no foul play.
Leaderboards
There are three leaderboards where players can compete for $BOOM rewards:
- Individual Leaderboard: Based on total XP
- Referral Leaderboard: Based on the number of qualified referrals
- Faction Leaderboard: Based on the accumulated XP of all faction members
Faction Wars
Partnered Factions will share their referral links when the event goes live.
Using this link to sign up to our P2A will add you to their faction.
All members XP adds to their Faction’s total score. You can earn XP from badges, quests and referrals.
Joining a Faction awards a +10% XP multiplier

BoomLand Faction: The Boss
We wanted to participate in the Faction war, because we love a good competition. So you can join and choose to represent BoomLand
However, we wanted to keep the competition fair and BoomLand will not be included in the rankings for Top 3.
Instead you’ll see our score displayed above the rankings, marked by a skull rank.
That doesn’t mean the BoomLand Faction won’t get rewards, oh no. The BoomLand Faction will receive $BOOM based on the placement we would have been in, if we were including ourselves.
This reward is separate and does not take away from the 10,000,000 $BOOM Prize Pool.

What is Immutable zkEVM and why is it important for P2A?
Immutable zkEVM is a layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that ensures faster transactions and lower fees, making it ideal for high-engagement events like our P2A. All P2A activities must be conducted on Immutable zkEVM for eligibility.
Can I use assets from Polygon for the P2A event?
No, Polygon assets and progress will not count towards the Play-To-Airdrop. Only activities on Immutable zkEVM will be considered.
What happens if I don’t actively play for 14 days to unlock the free Common Hunter?
If you do not actively play for 14 days, the Common Hunter NFT will not be sent to your wallet. Active participation is required to unlock it. If you fail the quest, upon expiration it will reset and you will be given a new Common Hunter to unlock.
How do I check my progress and XP during the event?
You can track your progress and XP through the P2A Dashboard, which provides real-time updates on your achievements and leaderboard standings.
Are there any costs associated with participating in the P2A event?
Participation in the P2A event is free. However, acquiring Premium Hunters or other in-game items might require purchases or trades on Sphere.
What types of Hunters are available, and how do they differ?
- Common Hunters: Free to play asset with limited potential, provided for new players and mass adoption.
- Premium Hunters: Offer higher potential and significant XP multipliers, obtainable through various means such as participating in contests, opening Hunt Boxes in-game or purchasing from the marketplace.
Can I participate in the P2A event without referring others?
Yes, you can still participate and earn XP through gameplay, completing badges, and quests without referring others. Referrals provide additional XP but are not mandatory.

In the competitive landscape of Web3 gaming, fairness and transparency are paramount. Our Play-To-Airdrop (P2A) campaign stands as a testament to our commitment to rewarding players’ efforts justly and scientifically. Here’s a deep dive into how we achieve this through a 6-sigma grading curve. At the campaign’s end, we will take a snapshot to verify all badges and missions, calculating each player’s final XP score. This data is then distributed on a normal distribution curve using 6 Sigma principles to place players in reward zones.
Reward Zones
We use the normal distribution curve to ensure fair and equitable distribution of rewards:
- Calculation of Thresholds: The desired XP limit is the mean minus three standard deviations (μ — 3σ). Players below this threshold will not qualify for rewards. This is to stop social farming (since most of the badges and missions are in-game) and remove underperforming outliers.
- Defining Reward Zones: Players are segmented into zones based on their distance from the mean (e.g., μ ± σ, μ ± 2σ, etc.).
- Token Allocation: Each reward zone has a specific token allocation, ensuring that top percentiles and outliers do not overshadow lower zones. This is to make sure there is no Pay To Win unfairness.
Token Distribution
The total reward pool for individuals is divided by the total XP collected by all players in the dedicated zones to create a “boom per XP” rate. This method ensures that every player’s effort is recognized and rewarded proportionally. By employing a scientific approach to our P2A campaign, BoomLand not only guarantees fairness but also upholds transparency and player trust.
Can I earn multiple rewards from different leaderboards?
Yes, you can earn rewards from the individual, referral, and faction leaderboards simultaneously, depending on your performance and contributions.
What if I encounter technical issues or have questions during the event?

Can I switch factions?
No, your faction is determined when you sign up based on the referral link you used.
What happens if I join directly without a referral link?
You will not be in a faction. However, you can join a faction later using a referral link.
Which faction do I join when using another player’s referral link?
You will be added to the same faction as the person who referred you.
How do I earn XP for my faction?
Complete badges and quests during the P2A event. All XP earned contributes to your faction’s total score.
Can I create a faction?
Factions are created by us, for partnered communities. You cannot create a Faction.
Where do I find a referral link?
Participating communities will share their referral links on their chosen social channels when the P2A goes live.
How are the $BOOM rewards distributed among faction members?
Rewards are distributed based on the individual XP contributions of each faction member. The higher your contribution, the larger your share of the faction’s total prize pool.
