Congratulations to all owners of Genesis Chests from Hunters On-Chain! It’s incredible to see the anticipation and excitement in the BoomLand community before the reveal. This guide will serve as a step-by-step tutorial on how to mint a Hunter from the existing chest.
Step 0: Transfer your Chest to MetaMask
To reveal the Hunters On-Chain Genesis Chest on boomland.io, you must have the NFT in the MetaMask wallet.
The safest way to transfer your NFT is to use PolygonScan:
- Follow the link → Contract ✔️
- Click “Write Contract” → Connect to Web3
- Scroll down to the “transferFrom” section (number 19).
Insert the following information:
transferFrom: box, 0
from (address): your wallet address from which you transfer
to (address): the MetaMask wallet address you are sending the asset to
tokenId (uint256): the number of the chest transfered
After that, click “Write”.
Step 1: Connect your MetaMask wallet to BoomLand.io
Click on the “Connect Wallet” button in the right corner, and connect your wallet. Ensure that there is enough in your wallet to cover the gas fees.
Step 2: Open the Chest
After connecting, navigate to the “Open Chests” page on boomland.io.
If your wallet is empty, it means that you don’t have an NFT, and you can grab one from Magic Eden. Alternatively, you’ve joined another network. You need to switch to Polygon Mainnet to open your Chest.
If you’re connected to the right network, the page will reveal the number of Chests you hold.
Then, click the “Open” button to mint your Genesis Hunter NFT, make it visible to others, and publicly confirm your ownership!
Confirm the transaction: A pop-up Metamask window will appear, asking you to approve the transaction. Review the details and click “Confirm” to complete the process.
Note that Metamask needs two signatures: the first one — to burn the chest and the second — to mint the Hunter.
Step 3: Reap the Benefits
That’s it! You are now the proud public owner of one of the Legendary, Epic, Rare, or Uncommon Hunters with the Genesis Artifact equipped.
